Response Type | How to Use It |

Compliance Choices (LOVs) | Tap one option from fixed choices like Yes/No, Pass/Fail, etc. |
Date | Select a standalone date using the calendar picker. |
Date and Time | Pick both date and time in a single field. |
Time / Duration | Enter the duration value in minutes or hours. |
Number | Type any numeric value (e.g. quantity, score). |
Short Text | Enter brief input like a name, ID, or label. |
Long Text | Write detailed notes, findings, or observations. |
Currency | Input financial amounts in your selected currency. |
Percentage | Type numeric values in percent format (e.g. 75%). |
Voice Note | Record and attach a short audio comment. |
Photo / Video | Capture or upload photos/videos as supporting evidence. |
Criticality / Priority | Select from dropdown values like High, Medium, Low. |
1–5 Scale / Star Rating | Tap a number of stars (1–5) to give a rating. |
GPS Location | Automatically records your location—no action required. |
QR / Barcode Scanner | Use device camera to scan asset or product codes. |
Signature | Sign on screen using your finger or stylus. |

Below is a breakdown of each response type, what it does, and how users interact with it during an audit:
Audit Date
Used to record when the audit takes place. Tap the calendar icon to pick a date and time.
Auditor Name
Usually auto-filled with the logged-in user’s name. Editable if needed.
Site / Location
Choose a predefined location or site from your organization’s hierarchy.
Compliance Choices (LOVs)
Various fixed-choice fields used to confirm audit steps:
Yes - No
Yes - No - N/A
Pass - Fail
Pass - Fail - N/A
Compliant - Not Compliant
Compliant - Not Compliant - N/A
Good - Average - Poor
Just tap one option to select.
Date
Pick a specific date, such as a due date or deadline.
Date and Time
Pick both a date and time for any time-sensitive audit step.
Time / Duration
Enter values in minutes, hours, or another format defined by the checklist.
Number
Enter a whole or decimal number. Useful for counts, thresholds, or measurements.
Short Text
Type short values like product codes, initials, or short answers.
Long Text
Use this for detailed explanations, escalation notes, or remarks.
Currency
Input amounts such as costs or penalties directly.
Percentage
Type a numeric percentage value, like 85%.
Voice Note
Record a short voice message as part of your audit comment.
Photo / Video
Use your device’s camera to capture images or videos as supporting evidence.
Criticality / Priority
Select from a dropdown menu (e.g. High, Moderate, Low) to indicate urgency or risk level.
1–5 Scale/Star Rating
Tap the appropriate number of stars to rate something on a 1 to 5 scale.
GPS Location
This field captures your location automatically—no input needed.
QR / Barcode Scanner
Opens your camera and scans equipment labels, tags, or products instantly.
Signature
Capture a digital signature on-screen using a finger or stylus.
Annotation
Upload files with notes or markup images/documents for detailed explanation.
Checkbox
Tap once to mark the item as checked or completed.

Dropdown with dynamic options (e.g. category selections, equipment types). The checklist creator decides whether it appears as a button group or a dropdown, and defines the list of values (LOVs) shown.
Thumbs Up / Down
Quick binary rating. Tap either a 👍 (positive) or 👎 (negative) to register your assessment.
