Overview

Creating your organization profile is the first step in setting up Audit Now. This profile establishes your company's identity in the system and serves as the foundation for your audit program. Your organization name will also become the default name for your top-level location in the location hierarchy.

Setting up your organization during onboarding

When you first sign up for Audit Now, you'll be guided through a simple onboarding process:

  1. Enter your Company Name (required)

  2. Select your Role in the organization (e.g., Operations Manager)

  3. Choose your Industry by selecting the relevant option(s)

  4. Click Next to continue with the setup process

What happens automatically

To help you get started quickly, Audit Now automatically:

  • Creates your organization profile with the company name you entered

  • Sets up your top-level location with the same name

  • Creates a default "Headquarters" location under your top-level location

This automatic setup saves you time and lets you start creating checklists sooner.

Editing your organization profile later

You can update your organization details at any time:

  1. Go to Settings in the main navigation

  2. Select the Organization tab

  3. Click the Edit button next to any field you want to update

  4. Update your information and save your changes

You can modify:

  • Organization name

  • Address information

  • Website URL

Why your organization profile matters

Your organization profile:

  • Appears on audit reports and documents

  • Helps organize your location hierarchy

  • Makes it easy for users to identify your company when using the system

  • Ensures consistency across your audit program
