Account deletion policies
At Audit Now, account deletion requests follow these guidelines:
Account Admin role required: Only users with the Account Admin role can request account deletion
Standard users: Standard users cannot delete their accounts directly; they must contact an Account Admin for assistance
Organization safeguards: If you are the last Account Admin, you must assign a new administrator before deletion
How Account Admins can request deletion
If you have the Account Admin role, follow these steps to request account deletion:
Email our support team
Send an email to support@auditnow.com
Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
Include:
Your registered email address
Organization name
Specify if you need account deletion only or full data deletion
Verification process
Our support team will verify your Admin status
We'll confirm there is at least one other Account Admin (if applicable)
You'll receive a secure verification link
Confirmation
Review the deletion information
Confirm your decision
Enter your password for final verification
Types of deletion requests
Account Admins can request two types of deletion:
Account deletion: Removes your user account while preserving organizational data
Data deletion: Completely removes organizational data (requires additional verification)
Timeframe for processing
Account deletion requests are typically processed within 3-5 business days
Data deletion requests may take up to 30 days to complete
You'll receive confirmation when the process is complete
For standard users
If you're a standard user who wishes to be removed from Audit Now:
Contact your organization's Account Admin to request removal
Your Admin can remove you through User Management
Alternatively, ask your Admin to contact our support team on your behalf
